Moscow, the capital of Russia, is 877 years old. Russian President Vladimir Putin also attended the celebration held in Moscow today on the occasion of City Day.
Speaking at the event, the Russian president said: “Moscow is undoubtedly one of the most adequate megalopolises in the world. We can confidently say that Moscow is the most suitable in terms of quality of life and opportunities for self-realization of its residents. Here, innovative production, scientific and educational centers, museums, concert halls and our spiritual historical shrines coexist in a harmonious form.”
“Moscow is a heroic and hardworking city, the center of the values of our multinational people, the symbol and safe fortress of our state,” Putin noted, adding: “As each of you know, we can be proud of what we see in Moscow.”
